Beth L. Fletcher is currently the Clinical Manager of the Mother/Baby Unit at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. She is responsible for daily operation and multi-faceted program/care delivery systems of a 29-bed mother/baby unit. Additionally, Ms. Fletcher is on the Steering Committee for Family Centered Care and part of the proactive efforts to adopt and implement an approach to healthcare, offering a new way of establishing relationships between families and healthcare providers. She is highly involved as a Preceptor, as well as, on-going training, development and mentoring of staff, and quality assurance efforts.
 
Prior to this role, Ms. Fletcher began her career with Memorial Regional Hospital 20 years ago as a Staff Nurse in Neonatal ICU and held other positions including Assistant Head Nurse of Neonatal ICU, and Staff Nurse/Preceptor of the Mother/Baby Unit. Beth has been an R.N. for 27 years and also worked as a Traveling Nurse and Massage Therapist.

Beth’s knowledge is diverse, hands-on and comprehensive encompassing Clinical Management and Healthcare Administration in various hospital settings. She is a performance-oriented staff manager, educator and preceptor. She is a role model, ethical leader, innovator and change agent. Beth is a true patient advocate with excellent patient relations in pursuit of improved nursing practice and committed to the highest standards of quality clinical patient care.

Ms. Fletcher has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Rochester in New York. She has attended numerous continuing education classes, seminars and workshops to continue to update and enhance the value of her knowledge. She is also a Certified Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Pre-Natal Massage Therapist, and Certified in Mother Massage. She possesses Instructor Certification for Infant Massage, Neo-Natal Resuscitation Program and Basic Life Support.

Ms. Fletcher is happily married, and was born and raised in New York. She has called Hollywood, Florida home for the last 20 years.
